Liebeskind Berlin Das Museum der Stille

A young man arrives in a remote village in the province. Under the guidance of an old lady, he is to set up a museum that houses a collection of everyday objects. All these items were stolen by her to preserve the memory of deceased villagers: the hedge trimmer of a gardener, the diaphragm of a prostitute, the scalpel of a doctor, the glass eye of an organist. The young man's initial task is to document, organize, and catalog everything. However, he soon finds himself pressured by the old lady to hunt down the villagers' mementos in her place. When a young woman is murdered and the young man is seen at the crime scene, the police suspect him of having committed the act himself.
