In this book, Andrea Azize Güvenç writes about her path to Sufism, about how she met the Sufi master and founder of ancient oriental music therapy Oruς Güvenç, how they found each other, married and lived, travelled and worked together - until the sudden death of her husband put an apparent end to it all. The author writes: 'When you become happy in a mutually loving union with a partner, it is a gift of life and not to be taken for granted. I had the honour of meeting a person with whom this was possible. In my search for the meaning of life, with all the questions about where from and where to and all the processes of deepest joy and most painful suffering, I was allowed to experience a deep fulfilment, which made me deeply grateful. I left my home in Germany and moved to my husband's home in Turkey. I opened myself up to a different, foreign culture and entered a spiritual path that is thousands of years old.
