Unrivaled in its interdisciplinary approach, a completely new type of reference work in its discourse-historical structure: The Encyclopedia of "Coming to Terms with the Past" presents for the first time the political and artistic, legal and social, scientific and media debates about the Nazi past. The critical reappraisal of the central events and debates of the FRG's discourse on remembrance thus leads at the same time to an insightful cultural history of German sensitivities after the Holocaust. For the 3rd edition, the encyclopedia has been thoroughly revised for the first time.
