Murder at the Daffodil Festival: Gasperlmaier's fifth case! Turmoil in Bad Aussee - and then a dead Daffodil Queen: Gasperlmaier has his hands full. The local population is filled with sudden anger against a cheap traditional costume chain that has opened a new branch in Altaussee. This happens just before the Daffodil Festival, where the easygoing village policeman is already on duty around the clock. When the newly elected Daffodil Queen is found dead, the question arises whether there is a connection between her death and the opening of the store. The fact that the grumpy Colonel Resch takes over the investigation and makes life difficult for him doesn’t help much. Gasperlmaier, now the new post commander, finds himself struggling. His concern for his daughter Katharina, who is crowned the new Daffodil Queen, only adds to the pressure.
