Let's start talking! Band 2

Do your children enjoy speaking English? Can they speak simple sentences fluently? Or do you, as a teacher, feel that your share of the conversation is too high? "Let's start talking" provides you with a set of frequently used English phrases and conversation situations covering all areas of the curriculum (numbers, breakfast, vegetables, drinks, Halloween, prepositions, home, furniture, setting the table, Christmas, pets, time, days of the week, months, vehicles, directions). Once created, the set can be used in various ways: as a conversation ritual with a partner or in small groups to kick off the English lesson, or as a regular, sustainable practice of oral language skills. The benefits: Children actively use common English sentence structures from everyday life. With the confidence gained from the recurring sentence structures, children are more willing to create their own sentences. The set also provides reassurance for shy children to speak English.
