Product details
In Workbook 4, the content from Workbook 3 is slowly expanded. Exciting topics such as London or "The British Isles" are worked on by the children with pleasure. In addition, the children experience practical communication situations that they can already use on a holiday in English-speaking countries. From the third grade onwards, children in all federal states begin to deal with written language in the subject English. The pupils first write individual words, then increasingly whole sentences, read the first words and stories, which are of course known in detail from the lessons, and begin to answer questions about the text. Due to this new engagement with language, the performance levels within the class are very different. This is taken into account with sufficient differentiation tasks in the workbooks, which can be both quantitative and qualitative. Last but not least, the children reflect on their development in foreign language acquisition on special language record sheets, which they can archive in a personal language portfolio. The workbook can be used to work on the topics for English Grade 4: Welcome Back - Great Britain At Home - In the house and flat Christmas - Christmas Course of the Year - Time and time references Transport - Means of transport London and Money - London and British money The Creature With no Name - Body and body parts Scotland and Sports - Scotland and typical sports Kings and Queens and Castles - Of castles, kings and knights What a Night - First reading.
