Learning to read and write is a tremendous challenge for students with intellectual disabilities, requiring a lot of practice and repetition. This book presents a comprehensive program to teach reading and writing of letters, words, sentences, and eventually simple texts. The concept includes well-developed ideas for reading and writing instruction, as well as a wealth of simple task formats for each letter. To meet the practice needs of the students, the accompanying CD offers around 400 worksheets.
