Information about the title: The chapters follow a clear, uniform structure. The reading training page at the beginning of the chapter systematically practices the required competencies of the educational standards. It introduces methods for dealing with different types of texts and deepens reading training for each reading text with a variety of tasks. A motivating magazine double page addresses the reading habits of children. Short reading texts with riddles, as well as jokes or logic and picture puzzles, enhance reading motivation and develop decoding skills. On the partner reading double page, two children can read together at two levels: on the left are the simpler, shorter texts; on the right are the more challenging, longer texts. The friends page at the end of the chapter promotes action-oriented and social learning. The new rainbow tasks are structured and differentiated.
