Awakening the Joy of Reading with Friends: The Reading Friends support elementary school children in systematically and diversely building reading competence and discovering the joy of reading. New inclusive pages with text offerings at various reading levels facilitate differentiated learning.

What the Reading Friends offer:

• Easier transition from My Primer to the Reading Friends through reading introduction pages
• Secure acquisition of competencies: Introduction of reading strategies as well as tips and tricks on the reading training pages
• Strengthening reading motivation: Magazine pages address children's reading habits, while friend pages provide action-oriented tasks and suggestions
• Suitable learning offers for everyone: Rainbow tasks on the reading conference pages with texts of varying difficulty levels
• Optimizing reading flow together: Partner reading double pages with texts at two levels
• Digital enhancement: Book Diver app with support, illustrations, strategy videos, and many other exciting contents related to the reading book

The contents of the Reading Friends closely align with the educational standards of the Conference of Ministers of Education (KMK) in the reading competence area and take into account the current curricula of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia.

The reading book includes a reading card and a learning development booklet, which can be used to assess the individual reading competencies of the students.
