The book is based on the KMK framework curriculum newly introduced in 2021 and is organized according to the learning fields. It covers all learning fields for the three years of training, including learning field 12 GI. It includes all content relevant for the examination, such as in the areas of plastering, drywall construction, and thermal insulation. The content is illustrated with numerous images.

The learning fields are introduced with a customer order and a learning situation. The chapters on learning fields are rounded off with tasks related to the content as well as mathematics exercises.
