The book builds on the textbook "Learning Field Construction Technology - Basic Level" and conveys the current specialized knowledge for plasterers in their 2nd and 3rd years of training. With its focus on learning fields, didactic-methodical preparation of content, and numerous project tasks, this work is well-suited for independent, self-directed learning and gradually introduces learners to self-management of their learning processes.

Particular emphasis was placed on visualization in the design. The explanatory illustrations are directly associated with the text. A student-friendly language ensures the texts are easily understandable. The clear structuring of the content, the color illustrations developed with didactic and methodological considerations, and the numerous photos enhance motivation and significantly contribute to improved learning success.

The latest developments in technology and standardization have led to updates and additions on over 90 pages in the 2022 new edition. Nevertheless, the page fidelity to the previous edition has been maintained. The following changes are particularly noteworthy:

As more and more technical regulations and standards have switched to the new unit Pascal for mechanical stress and pressure, this unit has now been consistently applied, while the respective previous unit is usually still indicated additionally.

In the course of the revision and updating, illustrations have been renewed or revised.
