Work and jobs are fun! Through games, numerous puzzles, matching tasks, surveys, and beautifully illustrated career cards, children explore the adult world of work. They approach this through professions they already know from everyday life (e.g., baker, doctor, or teacher), through workplaces (e.g., outdoors or in an office), tools (e.g., claw hammer and phase tester), and different forms of employment (employees, self-employed, and civil servants). However, the material also introduces rare, old professions as well as those that have emerged in recent decades, encouraging further research. In the end, children can better assess and articulate their dream job.
