Weaving error

"Webfehler" is the story of two women who are searching for a new life in different ways, seeking connection and warmth in a toxic, cold environment. While Anne, who appears self-assured and composed, seems to succeed in living her own life after seven years of marriage, Bettina gradually sinks deeper into despair and loses all hope of finding someone with whom she could escape the bleak, deadly routine of everyday life. Her increasing reliance on alcohol and pills, which she uses to mask her loneliness and desperation, as well as her fruitless search for home and tenderness, ultimately leads to an unexpected breakdown and her admission to a psychiatric clinic. It is only now that Anne begins to realize that she had repeatedly suppressed the signs of Bettina's decline.
