LEMAMOP. Problemlösen: Schülermaterial

Applicable for grades 5 to 12 across all school types, as well as in selected individual grades.

In general education mathematics classes, the aim is to sustainably develop mathematical competencies. The challenge lies in gradually building available knowledge and skills, particularly in mathematical reasoning, but also in modeling and problem-solving. In connection with these central mathematical competencies, solid foundational mathematical knowledge should be developed across the student body to lay the necessary groundwork for successful further learning.

Through LEMAMOP, corresponding teaching materials have been developed. This concept involves three specific learning opportunities per school year for grades 5 to 12, known as competency trainings, which are derived from the core curricula. Each learning opportunity encompasses approximately 4 teaching hours.

The LEMAMOP project has been scientifically supported by Prof. Dr. Bruder (TU Darmstadt) and funded by the German Center for Teacher Education in Mathematics.
