Recipes from a bygone era – reimagined for a new generation. After the death of her grandmother, Gabriele Schmenkel discovers an old, tattered notebook in her grandmother's kitchen cabinet: it contains the extensive recipe notes of her grandfather, who, originating from the Sudetenland, wanted to prepare his homeland dishes with the limited resources of the difficult times and preserve his knowledge. His granddaughter has made it her mission to adapt these recipes for today's generation.
