This volume brings together current empirical studies on teacher research in German didactics. The contributions examine the attitudes, competencies, and practices of German language teachers. On one hand, it showcases the spectrum of teaching and teacher research in German didactics; on the other hand, it aims to stimulate reflection on further pressing research questions: Where can specific features of German didactic teacher research be identified, and at what points are concepts from educational science professional research or approaches from other subject didactics compatible? What implications does this have for data collection and evaluation methods?.
