"Guardrails" for Quality Standards in Health Sciences Study Subjects According to current estimates, more than 600 different study programs are offered in the field of health sciences, and the number is rising. Teaching in the health sciences is demanding because of the interdisciplinarity and the heterogeneous student body and presents challenges to newcomers to teaching as well as to "old hands". For the first time in the German-speaking world, this work presents "guard rails" for course content, event formats and suitable teaching-learning methods.
