Product details
The work is the third volume of a four volume textbook of mathematics which contains the material for the preliminary mathematical examination. It is aimed at students of mathematics, computer science, physics and geophysics and deals with analysis in several variables. The focus is on differential calculus in finite dimensional number spaces and (Lebesguesch's) integral calculus based on measure theory, as well as an introduction to topology, function theory and stochastics. Numerous examples, especially from physics, and extensive task material round off the presentation.
