During a fashion show in Leer, 17-year-old Stephanie is shot on the runway. The perpetrator escapes unnoticed. Will he try again? To get Stephanie out of harm's way, her wealthy father, shipowner Venema, sends her to a clinic on Langeoog, where her concerning underweight will also be treated. However, upon her arrival on the island, unexpected events unfold. Stephanie mistakenly picks up the wrong suitcase at the ferry terminal. And it contains something that its owner desperately wants back.
