Product details
The work explores the question of how a military area, which is located in the settlement area, can be given a new use. In the 19th century the army built its barracks on the outskirts of the city. Since then, the centres have expanded considerably and today the military installations are mostly located in the middle of the settlement area. As a result of the political changes and the resulting restructuring of the military, barracks areas in the city are becoming potential living spaces for residents. In times of growing cities, more and more people are looking for living space in the core of a city. The difficulty here lies in dealing with the existing buildings.
