The specialized book "Lebensbild" by Hannah Höch is a comprehensive exploration of the artist's last major collage, which she created between July 1972 and March 1973. This impressive work, measuring 130 x 150 cm, is Höch's largest collage and offers a deep insight into the life of an extraordinary woman who experienced nearly a century filled with highs and lows. The book includes 38 excerpts from the collage, personally selected by Höch, as well as personal explanations recorded on tape by photographers Liselotte and Armin Orgel Köhne. The work is complemented by an accompanying text from art historian Alma-Elisa Kittner, which highlights the artistic and societal significance of Höch's oeuvre. "Lebensbild" is not only a visual autobiography but also a valuable document of the political and cultural developments of the 20th century.
