Le travail social dans le paysage de l'exécution des sanctions pénales en Suisse

Until now, the social work involved in the execution of sanctions in Switzerland (probation and execution of punishments and measures) has only been described in part, limited to certain contexts and institutions. An overview of the entire heterogeneous landscape and an insight into the historical lines of development were lacking in the existing literature. This book addresses this shortcoming by highlighting the key stages of development, both in terms of content and organisation. It also presents the different forms of organisation and the misconceptions of the professionals who make up the different cantons. Various contributions from practice and research provide an overview of this varied topic.
