Product details
The change in the course of the plantar pressure center is a key factor in preventing overload-related knee discomfort. Whether there is a correlation between medial elevated insoles and a medial shift of the center of pressure, as well as a lateral increase in the insole and a lateral shift of the center of pressure, has already been investigated in several studies. However, consistent results have not been achieved. The extent to which the flexibility of the foot and the pronation behavior of the ankle influence the shift of the center of pressure has not yet been sufficiently addressed and forms the basis for this work. A study was conducted with 17 female athletes, in which the plantar pressure distribution was measured under three different conditions.
