Most of the time, Sarya feels completely normal. Not at all like the most terrifying creature in the entire cosmos. Most of the time, she manages quite well with being the last human in the universe and knowing that she will probably never find out why humanity was actually wiped out. Because most of the time, she is busy hiding her true identity from the hundreds of aliens that populate Watertower Station. Or preventing her adoptive mother, a giant alien spider, from eating the neighbors. But when a bounty hunter arrives at the space station looking for her, Sarya must flee. Alone in the black expanse of space, she wants to find out why humans really had to die. And she uncovers a conspiracy of truly cosmic proportions...
