Product details

Personal details: Philippe Francq was born in Etterbeek in 1961. After studying at Saint-Luc, he worked for Bob de Moor at Studio Hergé. In 1988, he met Jean Van Hamme, who suggested that he illustrate his thrillers about the smart millionaire heir Largo Winch. The Winch universe now includes computer games, two cinema films and more. Jean Van Hamme, born in Brussels in 1939, is a living legend of Franco-Belgian comics and is celebrating his comeback with this new Largo Winch chapter. He initially studied economics and made a career in Marketing. At the same time, he wrote his first scenario, "Epoxy", in 1968. Van Hammes' greatest successes alongside "Largo Winch" include the series "XIII" (Carlsen Comics) and "Thorgal" (Splitter).
