Personal Information: Philippe Francq was born in 1961 in Etterbeek. After studying at Saint-Luc, he worked for Bob de Moor at the Hergé studio. In 1988, he met Jean Van Hamme, who suggested he illustrate his thrillers featuring the clever millionaire heir Largo Winch. The Winch universe now includes video games, two feature films, and more. Jean Van Hamme, born in Brussels in 1939, is a living legend of Franco-Belgian comics and celebrates his comeback with this new Largo Winch chapter. He initially studied economics and built a career in marketing. At the same time, he wrote his first script in 1968 with "Epoxy." Among Van Hamme's greatest successes besides "Largo Winch" are the series "XIII" (Carlsen Comics) and "Thorgal" (Splitter).
