Langzeitpflegeversicherung und das Potential digitaler Leistungen in der Langzeitpfle

In a time of demographic change and increasing challenges in healthcare, the question of financing and organizing long-term care for the elderly is becoming more urgent. This work presents a proposal for a long-term care insurance scheme. It recommends an independent insurance that combines in-kind and cash benefits to optimally meet the needs and self-determination of those in need of care. The use of digital technologies for sustainable cost reduction as well as for increasing efficiency and attractiveness is discussed. Opportunities and risks are highlighted, and ethical considerations are examined.
