Landschaft planen

In the formulation of a design concept into a realizable plan, landscape architects constantly navigate between two levels of consideration: the specific design task within the context of planning typologies such as parks, playgrounds, outdoor swimming pools, or sports facilities, and the individual planning elements like stairs, ramps, paths, enclosures, outdoor furniture, etc. Consistently, landscape planning provides the planner with a well-thought-out planning tool that features two main sections: "Elements" and "Typologies," between which the planner can flexibly switch depending on the scale of consideration. All planning-relevant information is presented in detail, clearly, and in context. These two main chapters are complemented by an introductory chapter that explains the fundamentals and framework conditions for designing in outdoor spaces.
