For 15 years now, farmers from North Rhine-Westphalia have been inviting each other to their farms, where they work with a blend of family tradition and newfound fascination, always bringing fresh ideas to the table. They each embody their own version of modern agriculture, focusing on themes such as the environment, climate, sustainability, and the respectful treatment of animals and food. In the kitchens of the participants, products from the farm or local area are served, seasoned with a generous dose of creativity. Whether traditional or inspired by global influences, the recipes are always sophisticated yet simple! In the 7th volume of the successful WDR show, the anniversary is celebrated in grand style, featuring all the recipes from the 2023 and 2024 seasons, along with interesting portraits and impressive images from the daily lives of the participants. As a special bonus, outstanding farms from the past 15 years are revisited, and of course, much has changed there – both on the farms and in the kitchens.
