This work provides a comprehensive analysis of FIFA regulations regarding international transfers of minor players. It is divided into three main parts: First, it examines the scope and limitations of FIFA's regulatory power. The second part presents the applicable regime in detail, highlighting both the substantive and procedural conditions of Article 19 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), as well as the associated disciplinary procedures. This analysis aims to assess the effectiveness of the regime and, if necessary, propose improvements. The third part addresses the compliance of Article 19 RSTP with Swiss, European, and international legal systems to determine whether the restrictions imposed by FIFA align with these legal frameworks. The book discusses the ongoing adjustments of these regulations to prevent circumvention and explores future challenges and potential solutions to enhance the protection of minor players.
