La Bible en français courant 1982/1997

Edition with deuterocanonical writings/apocrypha. Translated into simple, contemporary French, comparable to the Good News Bible, with a vocabulary of approximately 25,000 terms. The translation, completed in 1982, was revised again in 1997. It is an interdenominational translation with the imprimatur of the French Bishops' Conference. Each biblical book includes an introduction, text notes, and references. In the appendix: timeline, word explanations, three black and white maps, and four color maps.
