Product details
The term sharing economy stands for a development that has become increasingly relevant in recent years. The term sharing economy is usually understood as an umbrella term. This umbrella term describes a trend. People exchange and share goods and services via the internet instead of buying them, while at the same time the economy of the western world is based on a pronounced consumerism. This leads to people accumulating many goods (resources) but often not using these resources. This is where the idea of the sharing economy comes in. Existing resources should be used more efficiently instead of buying new ones, and companies that organise and monetise this exchange via digital platforms come into play in connection with the sharing economy. Free and unused resources (e.g. living space) and leis.
