Kunst zum Kinderbuch: Na warte, sagte Schwarte

In the popular children's book "Just You Wait, said Schwarte," there is celebration, eating, and a lot of painting. The guests are invited to a wedding and show up without clothes. Since they are pigs, this is not surprising, but the groom still takes up brushes and paints, dressing each pig in clothing. This way, they can celebrate festively until the rain washes away the clothes. The art project based on Helme Heine's book can be used starting from the 1st grade. The book can be read aloud or read by the children themselves. Some worksheets can also be worked on starting from the 1st grade, but there are also topics included for older students. This way, art classes can increase interest in books and contribute to reading promotion. At the same time, exciting and important topics are addressed in the art project. The children explore the theme of "clothing" in various ways. They design dresses for pigs, question the creation of clothing, create with their own photos, paint pigs in the rain, and invent a four-poster bed. Content includes: Invitation to the wedding, painting with soap bubbles, clothes for the guests, clothing for different occasions, clothing for professions, how a T-shirt is made, creating a clothing collage, my favorite summer clothes, making headgear, taking digital photos, water flowers, a four-poster bed for Schwarte.
