KulturSchock Marokko

The books in the KulturSchock series, awarded the "Special Guide Series" prize by the International Tourism Exchange in 2010, outline backgrounds and developments, history and politics, everyday life and religion to explain contemporary ways of thinking and living, providing guidance in unfamiliar daily life. They aim to help us understand the dynamics of culture shock, anticipate it to some extent, and reduce prejudices. The more we know about each other, the better we will understand one another.

The book describes the thought processes and behaviors of Moroccans, explains the historical, religious, and social backgrounds that lead to these ways of life, and thus offers orientation in the jungle of foreign daily life.
