Jens Schneider, born in 1962, is a senior researcher at the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) at the University of Osnabrück. He studied ethnology and musicology and works on identities, superdiverse cities, education and social advancement in immigrant families. He was coordinator of the research project "Cultural Production in the Migration Society" (KultMIX) and was responsible for the theatre research area.Jochen Oltmer, born in 1965, is Professor of Modern History and Migration History at the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) at the University of Osnabrück. He works on German, European and global migration relations from the late 18th century to the present day. His research focusses on reflexive migration research, geographies of migration and new social mobility. Her research focuses on urban migration policies, conflicts and negotiation processes in post-migrant urban societies and participatory methods in urban research.
