Künstlerisch-ästhetische Methoden in der Sozialen Arbeit

The artistic-aesthetic practice has a long tradition in social work and is becoming increasingly important in the present. Its methods play a significant role in work with preventive and compensatory orientations, as well as in social education and social or cultural pedagogy. Based on the needs of practice, the authors convey the theoretical and practical foundations for artistic-aesthetic work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in a hands-on and illustrative manner. The presented methods from the fields of art, music, dance, digital media, and theater are easy to vary and can be adapted to the specific situation in social work.
