Kreditsicherheiten in Ungarn

The economic cuts caused by the financial crisis have left their mark on the payment behavior of Hungarian companies. Studies have shown that companies from Hungary let their payment deadlines lapse significantly more than those in other Eastern European countries. This is not due to unwillingness to pay in Hungary, but primarily to insolvency issues. To protect against losses, certain criteria should be observed, especially for first deliveries. This work addresses, on one hand, the presentation of various security options and their out-of-court enforcement. On the other hand, it discusses the insolvency resilience of the individual securities. A main focus is on practical applicability, the resulting costs, and feasibility. The work is complemented by sample texts for each security option in both German and Hungarian.
