Marius Schneider attempts to provide a complementary approach to the concept of "Horsemanship" in this book. Groundwork, work with a cavesson, lunging, advanced lunging, hand work, long reins, and free work are addressed through explanatory training lessons. The reader is given a step-by-step guide to successfully start training with their horse. This 1x1 of groundwork with horses demonstrates how the individual training steps should be applied when we expect understanding from our horse. The reader receives a structured overview of various ways to successfully gymnasticize their horse, regardless of breed or age. Each lesson, starting with leading and following and culminating in the lessons of the High School, can first be worked on from the ground to facilitate the horse's learning.
