Kosmos Die Flucht der Trakehner

Trakehnen in the summer of 1943. At the famous stud farm, preparations are being made for the escape. Jesco von Esten, who has just returned from the war severely injured, is to lead a herd of 50 Trakehner mares to the west. On the back of his stallion Preussenlied, he guides his convoy through the icy cold over the frozen Frische Haff.
