Kooperationsformen bergreifender Wissensproduktion

In the scientific discourse on complex societal challenges, inter- and transdisciplinarity are regarded as key concepts. Alongside ambiguities and criticisms of these approaches, other established methods of knowledge production often go unnoticed. This theoretical-conceptual work first delineates the forms of cooperation in overarching knowledge production across a spectrum. Using the example of the subdisciplines of German administrative science, a suitable form is then identified that allows for collaborative work on complex problems without sacrificing subdisciplinary characteristics. A concluding example illustrates what a successful cooperation between the subdisciplines could look like.
