Konzept zur Materialflusssteuerung in der Halbzeugindustrie

This work deals with a concept for material flow control in semi-finished goods manufacturing companies. In the semi-finished goods industry, however, there is a conflict of objectives when designing a material flow control system. On one hand, there is a demand for comprehensive automation. Fully automated material flow control systems operate based on fixed control loops, which can only adapt to changes to a limited extent. On the other hand, this industry struggles with low process reliability and complex material flow structures. These influencing factors lead to fluctuations in the production process, necessitating high flexibility in the logistics process. This conflict of objectives demonstrates that differentiated approaches to material flow control are required in the semi-finished goods industry.
