When people think of the word conflict, they often think of wars or violence. However, conflicts exist at all levels of society and in all kinds of situations. It is easy to forget that we experience conflicts every day of our lives, and it is also fair to say that there have been conflicts in groups and organizations regarding the role of conflicts. It is quite difficult to accept the reality of conflict, which is essential for organizational growth and development in school organizations, because conflict is a natural disagreement that arises from individuals or groups differing in their attitudes, beliefs, values, or needs. One could say that conflicts are a part and a fact of normal life that can occur daily between individuals within the organization. In a school system, the effectiveness, diligent behavior, and creativity of teachers and administrative staff can be enhanced by identifying the level and causes of the conflict they experience.
