Term paper from 2019 in the field of Business Administration - Corporate Management, Management, Organization, grade: 1, Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, course: Conflict Management, language: German.

Abstract: This paper addresses the topic of conflict management. The aim is to establish a foundation regarding a conflict and to illustrate it through a case study. At the beginning of the paper, a conflict is presented, which is based on a current situation in a company and is subsequently analyzed. Important aspects of the foundation include the following points: definition of the conflict, types and causes of the conflict, escalation levels, and conflict resolution. To resolve the conflict, the Harvard concept is applied. The outline points, except for the cause of the conflict, consist of two areas. The primary area provides a detailed introduction to the theoretical foundations. The secondary area applies these foundations to practice. The remaining aspects are only briefly touched upon, so that the conclusion brings together the results in a final summary.
