The book teaches legal skills to both first-year students and exam candidates. Instead of another methodology or case collection, this book offers a step-by-step introduction to expert opinion style and exam technique. Users will find instructions on how to avoid common methodological errors in written exams in the future. Case-solving techniques as the core of legal examinations are trained in many exercises, but the application of the methods is also placed in the context of study and learning organisation. The book is based on a seminar that has been offered at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg for several semesters; all exercises have been tried and tested there and draw on new findings in legal didactics.
