Margit Pieler was born in 1963 in Baden near Vienna. She is married and the mother of a 17-year-old son. In addition to her studies in German philology and Catholic religious education, she is a certified adult educator in literature education and a trained dyslexia tutor. Since 1989, she has been a secondary school teacher, and since 1995, she has been teaching at BG and BRG Frauengasse in Baden.

Günter Schicho was born in 1968 and lives in Gloggnitz (Lower Austria). He is married and the father of a son and a daughter. He completed a teaching degree at the University of Vienna. Since 1991, he has been a teacher at BRG Wiener Neustadt, where he teaches German as well as physical education and sports. Additionally, he manages the school library and serves as the German subject coordinator.
