Please hug me, little bird! Oskar is not like other birds. His wings are incredibly long, and no matter how hard he tries to fly, it just doesn't work. One day, Oskar meets an orangutan who is terribly sad and sobbing. Oskar hugs him tightly and comforts him. Maybe his useless wings are good for something after all? So Oskar cuddles a bear, a ticklish crocodile, and a whole flock of birds. Even a worm wants to be cuddled. Every morning, the animals line up, and that's when the little bird with the overly long wings realizes that he is happy just the way he is. And that there is something much more valuable than being perfect: friends! And because you can achieve anything with friends, they also help Oskar fulfill his biggest wish.
