Komik in den Tristien Ovids

Using the Tristia as an example, the present book demonstrates that, despite their title to the contrary, numerous passages worthy of the attribute can be found in Ovid's Poems from the Exile. By discussing each poem of books 1, 3, 4, and 5 individually, the present study can show that comic passages are also present in the remaining poems and extend throughout the corpus.
