The Federal Act on Collective Investment Schemes of 2006 has now been in effect for over 8 years and has brought about modernization not only in the forms of collective investment (SICAV, limited partnership for collective investment schemes, and SICAF) but also in the supervisory area. In addition to commenting on all articles of the law and regulations, incorporating the relevant regulations of the supervisory authority and the self-regulations of the responsible industry associations, the work also presents the very central tax requirements in practice and practical guidance for implementing the law. Regarding the new edition: The second edition comments on the new or amended provisions of the KAG revision of 2013. This revision not only aligned with the European AIFM Directive but also introduced further, sometimes significant changes, for example, in the distribution concept. The new edition processes and acknowledges the numerous published literature and case law.
