The Practitioner's Commentary on the CISA analyses the Collective Investment Schemes Act (CISA) as a product law in its dovetailing with the Financial Services Act (FinSA) and the Financial Institutions Act (FinIA) within the framework of the Swiss financial market infrastructure that has been in place since 2020. It also takes into account the revision of the CISA and the Collective Investment Schemes Ordinance on the occasion of the introduction of the liberalised fund category of the Limited Qualified Investor Fund (L-QIF) on 1 March 2024, thus providing a compass through the regulation of the Swiss fund centre as a distribution and product location. The contributing authors are recognised experts from the legal profession, the financial industry, financial market supervision and academia.
