Caregivers often have to cope with difficult situations alone; targeted advice from colleagues is usually only sought incidentally. However, a focused and professional exchange during challenging situations is essential for maintaining consistent care quality and ensuring healthy staff. A systematic method of mutual support is collegial consultation. Developed by the Consulting, Informing, Training (BIS) section of the German Society for Nursing Science (DGP), this resource provides professional caregivers, nursing managers, or nursing educators with the necessary tools for the introduction and implementation of this consultation method.
